“Ask not what you can do for your country
Ask what's for lunch - Orson Wells.
I'm still suffering the after effects of American Eateries.
Too many potatoes, too large a portion, too bloody, red meat, too much.
Lunch typically is a bowl of Salad leaves - I'm waiting for my rocket to grow and until then, bags are cool. Some Pineapple, some grape, some cheese, some croutons, some coriander, some salt, perhaps some meat, but perhaps not. Tuna is featuring highly on my body desires currently.
Today, I was late out of the house, and was half way to work before I remembered I hadn't remembered lunch. Quick stop at the Temple of St Michael, to pray for sustenance, found me with this rather pretty Rainbow Salad.
I call it Rainbow Salad, and do not dwell t0o heavily on the contents of it. I don't do seeds, and there are seeds in here from one or two things, that if they were still in the said things, I would be convulsing on the floor. However, the fact that they are separated, and designated "salad" and "rainbow", I am quite content to munch my way through.
It's so very, very pretty, yeah?
And filled me up beautifully.
