Monday morning so down to the coast. What a difference from the storms of yesterday, back to clear blue sky and plenty of sun.

Instead of looking for a blip by the sea I decided I would call in and look at the castle in Velez Malaga," La Fortaleza". Although I drive past on a regular basis it is some years since I last looked around.
The castle was built in the 13th century and is perched high above the city providing panoramic views of Velez Malaga. It was once used as a royal residence, jail and courthouse!
Just a tourist attract now though!
