Trial

Today Betsy had her forth trial for the Under 13's Fastpitch Softball Team.

They are trailing for a place in the team for a European Championship in Italy later this year. Betsy has been selected the last two times (the first she was a non-travelling reserve). This could be her third European Championship and the last in the Under 13's. She wants it very badly. The competition is greater this year than any other; there are a lot more girls for few slots as they are not taking a Cubs team this year.

After the trial she had a double-header with her league team, The Yankees. They beat The Mets but got beaten by the Red Sox afterwards.

We were at the Scrubs for more than six hours but it was a lovely day.
