By the Light of the Moon

Technically, this hand-held shot is really nothing to crow about. But the fact that this is my favorite one's favorite view makes it utterly blip-worthy. Years from now, I will be sitting in my rocking chair, reading my old blip entries on whatever newfangled device might be all the rage by then, and they will enable me to remember fondly the cool fresh air of this evening, the last clear remnants of light barely holding onto the sky, the crisp silhouettes of the surrounding evergreens, and way up there, the small sliver of a silvery crescent moon, winking back at me.
