Contradictions

"Since I photographed a sunken ship yesterday, I should photograph some floating vessels today."

This is what she said as she raised her camera and told him to smile.

"Am I in the picture?"
"Yep"
*SNAP*

And then he smiled and laughed at the same time, as he's prone to do when she suddenly becomes a walking contradiction, always bent on surprising and amusing him. He was almost certain she was only photographing a floating vessel...but there he was, once again, right in the middle of her whimsy.
