It shouldn't be so hard....part 2

I don't consider myself a risk taker. I play it safe.
I saw a meme yesterday which said " I took a calculated risk , but boy, was my math wrong!"
I took a calculated risk this morning. I stepped down from a safe and dry ledge onto a wet ledge in the dark. I couldn't see that it was covered in black sea slime and my camera and I went for a fall. I have a fairly sore hip, a less sore elbow and a recovering palm/wrist....thankfully my Canon is AOK!

The remainder of the morning I was much more attentive and careful and very VERY guarded in my movements!

My Dad has had a number of falls, mostly at night. He is losing the confidence he had to do simple things we take for granted. Everyone says to him "you must walk"!
He doesn't want to. He is scared. I understand.......
