A serendipitous day....

Spent the morning trying on hats in all the charity shops down Kings Road ... I'm afraid as I walk in the ladies all say 'oh it's the hat lady!'
Most tempting, especially as Ascot is around the corner( not that I'm going) but there are the most exquisite little masterpieces.
And then in the afternoon I caught the bus to Westminster Abbey and happen to walk in as the little chorister boys were practicing for Evensong...
which was a glorious celebration in honour of the Queens coronation . Those sweet crystal clear soprano voices ringing out in that ancient Abbey made it a most memorable day .
