Eagles fan of a certain vintage

I was standing at traffic lights in Glasgow this afternoon waiting on the lights changing and this fellow turns round and says "You must be Roger Mullin, I'm lost and looking for Belfast". It was Paul O'Connor (pictured) a long time friend who works for Belfast Metropolitan College. The Milliganesque conversation continued to the amusement of Glaswegian by-standers.

" I knew there was something wrong when I was swimming across the Irish Sea…"

Paul, and his wife, are over in Glasgow for the Eagles concert at SECC tonight. What a coincidence bumping into someone like this. We had a coffee and chat before going on to my final meeting of the day (having failed to turn up to one earlier that I thought was tomorrow!!).

Its been a very strange day.
