Lillies in the Garden

You may have picked up that one of the reasons we are moving from our Brighton town house is that it does not have a proper garden. It is always lovely then to return to Devon where, although the house only has a small area of outside space it is enough to grow a few flowers and shrubs in. They all have to take pot luck as we visit so infrequently but most do survive. It is always a surprise to arrive to find new plants in flower and yesterday was particularly nice because we found the lilly in full bloom. This hasn't flowered since we transplanted it from our old house over 6 years ago.
