Oksfjord...sunshine and snow.

South of the North Cape but still North of the Arctic Circle....but we have left the freezing mists behind and are back under blue skies with glistening snow and water.....just beautiful today. Got off the ferry at Hammerfest this morning and found a lovely coastal path up above the harbour and had a lovely walk....realised I am missing running and walking whilst on the ship...but can't have everything! Then I simply spent the afternoon on deck with my book and a beer...and my camera. This is sailing up Oksfjord.
Tonight we are docking late in the city of Tromso and there is a concert in the Cathedral to accommodate the ferry timetable! The modern design building and stained glass is supposed to be stunning so will go along .
Not a bad way to spend a Monday!
