7th Annual Metuchen Junebug ArtFest is nearly ready to LAUNCH!

My Blip is of last years Junebug sculpture that now sits proudly in the downtown area near the gardens. My brother in law and sister are doing this year’s scultpture that will be unveiled this Friday. I hope to get a photo of it then.

The Junebug ArtFest features open air exhibits, window galleries, interactive art events, open mic sessions, live music performances and several hundred visitors throughout downtown Metuchen. For this year’s Junebug ArtFest, they are coordinating a series of storefront displays called Window Galleries, which will use downtown window space to showcase the work of established artists. My art teacher will have a spot in one of these window galleries.

It is held every Friday evening for the month of June.
