A lovely few hours...

With my gorgeous nephew Sam at the YSP.... he borrowed my bins & had great fun using them. A couple told us of a tawny owl asleep on a branch of a tree low down that they had just passed so we went to look. Sam hasn't ever seen a 'proper owl' as he put it... we looked and looked but couldn't find it. Maybe we misunderstood where it was.... never mind :)
