Hanging on

Thanks to QEII we had a holiday today :) For me, a bit of catch-up so a good lie in, a fair bit of washing, a little house keeping, a little visiting and a bit of relaxation. I did look at the the lawns and thought they could do with a mow.....maybe at the weekend. Nice to see a few flowers still lhanging on - even the aphids haven't been killed off by the frosts!

If the next 4 days are anything like a 'typical' 4 day week we shall no doubt pack 5 days work in.

So.......why ARE long weekends always so short??
