Another beautiful day

Perfect morning for kayaking on the beautiful Whanganui-a-Tara Harbour. It was so still I could their voices up on the hillside track where I was walking with the K9s.
The Island in the background is Matiu/Somes which has a remarkable history from generations of Maori occupation to a human and animal quarantine station and interment camp to today's scientific and historic reserve.
