Cones. GX1, Leitz Summicron 50mm DR.

A friendly spruce tree provided me with today's Blip. Again, this is the Dual Range Summicron 50mm in its close-focus range. This lens feels really good on the GX1. Its massive chromed brass mount and knurled focus ring add some heft to counter-balance the lightness of the GX1. This was just one of the upmarket standard lens options that could be paired with the iconic Leica M3 of 1954 (of which more later), and it feels just fine hanging off the front of an M3!
