Day Six - Hesdin, France

This delightfully cheery, amply moustached chap (in picture & in person) was the vendor of some very fine & tasty cured meats at the Hesdin town Market. After we all scooped some tasters, we procured a few saucissons for our lunch. Market day brought the ordinarily quite & subdued town to life, it was quite the spectacle. Amongst all the cheeses, meats, waffles with caramel butter (mmm!) & bizarre, time-warp (from future or past I don't know) & frankly hideous clothing that were on sale, the sauci' bon man was our fave.
