Belmont Castle, Meigle, Perthshire, Scotland

Belmont Castle was built by Sir Henry Campbell Bannerman, British Prime Minister 1905 to 1908. I spent many happy hours as a child playing with my friends in the castle and on the roof of the castle. My friends were the daughters of the Matron and Superintendent when the castle was used as a Church of Scotland Eventide home. So very sad to see it unoccupied and deteriorating.
