CHURCH TOWER (Bergen op zoom)

We had an early start walking round to the village hall for the coach to take us to Bergen op zoom in Holland. We had a good journey down to the channel tunnel and arrived at our destination early afternoon. It was a public holiday (Ascension day) and the Grote Markt (great market square) was filled with stalls, music and entertainment. This is the view from our hotel, of the church on the market square.

We had a walk around to familiarise ourselves with the area. We had our evening meal at the hotel with the whole group. The food was excellent and the company was good.
