Lasts

The last day of half-term and the only full day to get jobs done so the list has been quite long: post-holiday washing and ironing; prep for Y11s very last lesson before their exam on Tuesday; grass cutting and garden tidying - including finally giving up on my snowball tree which has again been ravaged by it's very own viburnum beetle. It was sad to get rid but the garden looks so much better, if a bit empty in one corner, without it. As a result of getting things done, I haven't been far so it is another macro blip - this time of the flowers on the laurel, all three of which are flowering this year despite several drastic haircuts.
