Year 2, Day 129 - Glenfinnan Monument

A bit of a murky day! The dog was up at 6am so I took him along the beach early and the midges were biting! I can't believe how bad the midges are this time of year already. It doesn't bode well for the summer at all!!!

Because we were up early we made an early start! Went along to the monument, did a bit of walking and driving but the midges got the better of me so we went to Mallaig for fish and chips in the afternoon - best fish I have ever had from a chip pie!

We went back to the tent for a while then the wind picked up and chased the midges away so we went back to the beach for a long walk and to have a look for sea life in the rock pools - great day (part from the midges!)!
