Where have all the oysters gone???

We went our usual Sunday morning 'trip' along the Clyde Valley to Dobbies' garden centre for coffee and gardening supplies, after the 'inspiration' I got yesterday at the Gardening Festival. Just as we were walking back to the car, I spotted this oystercatcher on the roof of one of the conservatories. I managed to rush to the car to get my camera and 'chased' it around the conservatory until it stopped on this rock, before flying off.
We have seen oystercatchers before, but only in estuaries or on the coast. Checking up our 'bird book' we were surprised to learn that in recent years they have been venturing inland to nest and to eat worms from farmland. So maybe he is a local after all.
