Cooling down

June has arrived, bringing 27 degrees and 65% humidity and it's only going to increase over the summer.

After yesterday's successful river paddle I took the woofer to a local manmade steam for a splash about. A little reluctant at first, he soon found his sea legs and chased his favourite bouncy ball up and down for the best part of an hour and a half.

His afternoon snooze was postponed in favour of the inevitable bath. I'm attempting to win him round with cheese!

What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.
