Chris's senior recital

Us trying to make double chins lol.

Woke up sleep and headed to MILI. Had octet. We're getting there but have very limited time.

Quick subway lunch. 25 minute run. Showered and got ready.

Back to MILI for a lesson. We worked on the Bach double. Courtney needs to practice.

We took the train in. Got chipotle. Met up with Sarah and made it to Middletown with no problems. Tasha picked us up and drove us to the church. Chris crushed it. He was so focused, prepared and musical. His Brahms sonata was lovely though they all were. We saw the plattepus. Sarah made me laugh so many times tonight. Chris made me feel so loved and was great. Tasha was so entertaining with her camp gossip and nice for driving us. Olivia was so good just to talk to; her anticipation of seeing her first kiss tomorrow made me happy. We went to Chris's for a reception afterward.

Six hour travel time. Three hours with NEMC friends and a fantastic recital. So worth it.
