Worth waiting for...

Finally, the trams begun today and we took a trip from York Place out to The Gyle, and back again, as part of our day ticket. It was after 6pm and not very busy, it was apparently much busier before.

They all run smoothy, much faster than you would imagine on the off-road sections, so it's now feasible for me to get into work by bus then tram and back again for £3.50... that's a bargain, much less than the £700m it has cost me so far, but probably just something I'll do in an emergency... fun though!
