The last peony

Flaming June tomorrow. Where on earth did May go???

Another manic day for me. Alexander went home at 9 and my Daughter convinced me that changing the colour of one wall in her kitchen was a good idea, which meant a flying visit to the local DIY store to get paint.
In between coats I did more work on another 'project' that I have in the pipeline.

Mr E called for an Indian Takeaway this evening on his way home from work, as our kitchen has been 'taken over' with paint and 'stuff'.

I salvaged this, the last peony from the garden to decorate the dining table (the rest have been reduced to mulch). Mischievous nymphs were said to hide in the petals of the Peony, giving it the meaning of Shame or Bashfulness in the Language of Flowers.
