Short back and sides?

So, came to visit ma-in-law today and no sooner had we arrived than she set us to work. Luckily we'd had advance notice and packed the chainsaw, shears, loppers and stuff. Lots of Elder trees gone. Leylandii trimmed to within an inch of it's life (literally). Large piles of branches all over the garden!

We earned our trip to the Indian restaurant this evening!
