Colour fest
Spent much of today outdoors, attacking overgrown shrubs in the garden and clearing space for some new arrivals. Then popped into the village for some provisions, and spotted a heron perched beside the village pond, but he was a little far off for a good shot and my long lens was back home. So the riot of colour that greeted me at the garden centre was the best bet for today's blip.
Daughter was head down all day again on her uni exam revision, but spotted a shy woodpecker paying occasional quick visits to the bird station outside the kitchen window, so set up her tripod and kept watch. The result was the fabulous shot on her blip today Woody. Hope he 's back tomorrow.
