Perfect Day

One of those brilliant days.

Bella and MrRoly jogged round the Point while I took the small 3 swimming. Then into town - me to get a zoomy camera lens, MrRoly to get paella ingredients and Red to meet his ClareClare for birthday shopping!

A quick lunch then we walked down to Gylly Beach, in blazing sunshine, with the rest of Falmouth! Today is the last day of the Pendennis Cup and the Red Arrows came to do a display. I took almost 100 photos but like this because I feel it captures the mood of this afternoon!

The Bay was full of boats, big and small. The beach was rammed, as was the seafront and the atmosphere was fantastic. Blipper D found us and watched with us. It was a brilliant display - we could hear the commentary from Red10 which was ace. This is their first public display of 2014 and what a cracker it was! They even did an 'extra' fly past accompanied by the blaring of all the boats horns and the crowds cheers!

A brisk walk home where we were joined by our old next door neighbours for paella, wine, cake and a bonfire!

A most excellent day.
