Red poppy

This is the the centre (not a very biological term) of a red poppy which lives in Mum's garden. I haven't ventured far in the past few days but going out into the garden is always full of surprises. Today we are heading for sunny Switzerland - I haven't seen a ray of sunshine for the duration of this visit! Mum is coming too for her first visit to our Swiss home.
