Dog and buttercups

What a beautiful day!

It was nice just to potter around the house doing weekend chores with the sunshine streaming in, whist Mhairi slept until about 3pm. I guess she hasn't been getting much sleep in her last week at university. Poor Bella, it was after 6pm when she finally got her walk in the park, but at least the crowds had gone by then.

Mhairi and I walked a full circuit of the park, around 5km, chatting about her uni pals, whilst Bella went into every bit of water she could find. We lost her for about 5 minutes, as she managed to find an underground tunnel that led underneath the old mill building and into the river. Mhairi eventually found her swimming happily beside the weir.
