Last Tango in Halifax and the current BBC series Happy Valley have both been filmed nearby.

Just up the road is the Barkisland War Memorial and from here the road heads over the Pennines via Scammonden and Dean Head.

It's here that the Happy Valley abduction scene was filmed (episode 1). The white transit is just about to run into the yellow mini.

Can't wait for the final episode on Tuesday evening.
