Evening Patrol.

This evening we went up to the Stirling University campus for a stroll and to see if there were any ducklings or cygnets about. At first we thought we had drawn a blank then we spotted three little ducklings. Lots of coots, young and old, and all ready to fight each other, ducks and even swans if necessary. Then, on our way back to the car, we spotted a family group of swans, mother, father and seven cygnets!
We took some photos while they were in the water and we got well hissed at by both parents. I took Rona back to the car as she seemed to be their main concern and then they all paddled up the bank and across the road. So funny and so cute too.
They should thrive well as both parents are very attentive and protective.
