A fabulous day meeting up with an old friend in London. Started with cream tea in Covent Garden, followed by a visit to the Saatchi Gallery, which neither of us had ever been to before.

There was a lot of interesting modern art, and my favourite gallery was unsurprisingly the one where everything had been either knitted or woven. This was part of a larger installation, which showed lots of mantras made from wool.

Found an international food festival in Sloane Square for some lunch, then a trip to the National Portrait Gallery before heading home. A good day.
