Blue Eye Springs, Albania

A lovely warm sunny day until a trip in the mountains where it was rainy and misty for a wee while and then back to sunshine again.

Up early again today and off touring to Albania. We arrived at Serande about 10am for a coffee before our tour. Off we went to visit the ancient site of Butrint, over 2000 years of archeology including Roman buildings, very interesting. Back to Serande for lunch in a hotel and then up to the natural springs of Blue Eye. I've had a great day out in Albania, took the chance as I may never get it again, hopefully will become a holiday resort soon :)
A relaxing night and relaxing days too come.

This is the clear waters coming from the Blue Eye springs, an underwater spring that looks like a blue eye. The water falls down the Albanian mountain caves and comes out here crystal clear.
