Today we explored some of the areas that make Iceland just a fascinating country. It's a geologists paradise.

We did the Golden Circle tour visiting the geothermal area of of Nesjavellier.

Following on from this we went to Pingvellir National Park where the American & Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart a few cm every year.

From there we visited the Gulfoss waterfall which was breathtaking and then finished at the hot springs of Geysir & Strokkur.

Its been a long of sighting seeing but well worth it. & now enjoying a lovely glass of wine before runtur
