Housing for Local People

After 5 years hard slog from many organisations, including the Parish Council, the Parish now has 9 new dwellings specifically built to house local people. The houses/flats were finished in December 2013 and all residents moved in in time for Christmas.

Today was the 'official' opening of the houses and they look great. The new road is called Redding Court after a good friend on mine and his wife who do so much for the village and it's people, they don't shout about it, they just get on and do it and make a big difference and I am proud to have them as friends and work alongside them for the good of the village.

Feeling very pooped today, probably did too much yesterday as I was feeling better.......must learn to pace myself!!
