Kirkstall Abbey

Called in at Kirkstall Abbey on our way for a family swim. They have a Deli Market on the last Saturday of every month, so we thought we'd stop off for lunch there. However, by the time we arrived, the stalls were mostly bare, so we ended up at the cafe over the road.

I love to visit the ruins at the Abbey. They provide such a visual sense of history and the gothic grandeur of it all, always sparks the imagination of my children.
