Parkrun

over a lovely lakeside circuit at Milton Keynes, with almost 500 runners.

I became aware of Parkrun because the data collection at the finish, a simple and robust system using two barcode tags, for Runner and Position, is a case study in an Open University module on web technologies. And it was a marking meeting on that very module which took me to MK today.

I'm rather fond of the module because joining in the Parkrun at Worcester was what introduced me to the Malvern Joggers (q.v.)

And I had a twinge-free run today, making me optimistic that knees and heels are working as designed.
