Grand St Bernard Pass

The pass opened after the winter in the last few days, and I went over the coll in preference to the tunnel on my return from Italy. It is such a magnificent route with stunning views in every direction. Although the road was clear there was still deep snow on either side and people were taking the opportunity to get in some late season ski touring.
