Country Life

Yes it's cold, very cold, but the hot water is back on so we're now exceptionally cosy and we can have a bath.

Over the past 10 days we've spoken to two people, Christine our neighbour has been over twice including today, as has John who fixed the plumbing.... and we've spent a total of £5.00 - although the supplies are starting to dwindle.

The highlight of the day has been digging the car out -just to make sure we can get it back on the road for the weekend. Other than that we've done nothing but have a good yarn, drink cups of tea and a nibble on the occasional cheese scone.


Talk about talking a walk on the mild side.
