A Bee on a Callistemon brush.

This plant is more commonly known as the Bottle brush. The flowers look like bottle brushes, hence the name.
The 'brush' to the right still in tight bud form is yet to open up. Many bees were around the unopened buds as well.
Looks good in large view.

Have been out in the garden today whilst our next door neighbour is having a new close board fence erected. The old fence blew down about 6 months ago and did not leave us with any privacy or security. I had a few strong words and at last he has done something about it.
It does look nice and has 'tidied' up the garden no end. Hooooray!!!
