Police Horses

Came across a small rally with a large police presence commemorating James Connolly the Edinburgh born Irish Republican Socialist who was executed by the British after the Easter Rising of 1916.

There was little tension in the air on this occasion with the horses left to stand in the warm sunshine with the tunes of a couple of republican flute bands for entertainment.
