Especially weirdos who want to take your photograph.

That's what I imagine the ewe in the background is saying, anyway.

This was the best of a bad bunch. The brilliant sunshine meant I couldn't see what I was taking.

Having been cancelled for the past two years because of rain/water-logged fields, Drymen Show couldn't have asked for a better day today. It is a huge day in the village calendar, not only amongst the farming community but also for a much wider audience. This year the attractions included a vintage tractor display (hold me back!), horse and rider fancy dress competition, highland dancing display and children's races. There's usually a funfair as well, and competitions between local primary schools and WRI branches. There would have been an endless supply of interesting blips... if I'd bothered going.

Now awaiting the arrival of Daughter #1 for a visit from Denmark via France, where she's been visiting Lulabel177.

Note to self: Must try harder.
