Busy bees

In a few days these gorgeous alliums will be over but today these bees are making, if not hay then, honey and there is a quiet little buzz as they collect the nectar.
I have a friend whose husband is a beekeeper and, over the last couple of weeks, he has been inundated with phone calls from people asking advice about bees making nests in their property. His tells them not to worry, it's the weather and by August all will be fine. So, don't panic!!
