Magdalen Arms

I met Ulrich on Donnington Bridge and took him down the tow path to watch the bumps… I was hopping for some drama, a close shave or a fierce battle between the college eights but it was all very civilised. We headed off to the Isis for a drink and when it got chilly up to the Magdalen Arms to enjoy a bit too much wine/beer and a lovely amber-lit ambience.
