The livin' is easy...
... or so we have to convince ourselves on these rare and beautiful summery days when we can sit outside to eat our lunch (even if the peacock nearly made off with my sandwich).
I had a blissful ride into town this morning for the paper. Met some friends, and bought some tasty baklava made by a lady at DGMA who comes from Egypt and is a wonderful cook. On the way home, I noticed a man on a racing bike trying to catch me up, so I rode faster and faster until I was out of breath. He caught me on a hilly stretch (of course he did) and turned out to be a friend's husband, so we chatted until I reached home and he carried on.
I'm off out again later.. in my life, parties are like buses, none for ages and then two all at once. I've got to keep racking up the cycling miles so I can eat lots of cake. The Glenkiln Loop should do the trick, I think
