The life & times of Jacks

V&A

Last weekend (with this being a back blip it was now last weekend) my friend Sam came down to visit for the Nine Inch Nails gig at the O2 on Friday night.

NIN was, as ever, awesome. I have been (and still am) struggling with a bit of a nasty but it was easy to forget about the ever snotty nose while bopping away to NIN.

Saturday we had a bit of a lazy start into the day and then headed to the V&A. Being a Saturday the place was pretty busy - and I don't think I realised how vast the museum is before. We headed into the wedding dress exhibition which was pretty cool. What struck me is that through the ages there has always been something special about wedding dresses and therefore more expense in the dress. The main difference is that as fashions change, the dresses are more different from your day to day dresses which is why the dresses could be re-worn and re-used.

Unfortunately I don't think I will get away with wearing my dress again after the big day....
