Blip Meet
Every now and then when I have had a wonderful experience I wish I could put it in a little jar and every now and then open the little jar and have a whiff to remind myself of that moment.
Today was certainly one of those times, when CCN and I had the great joy of meeting with Gitama. A huge bonus was to also meet her grandson Flynn and daughter Jaiya.
We had a tough drive to finally arrive there after nearly 300 kilometres of the trip was through driving rain. Of course we needed to have a cup of coffee. that seemed like a great idea and it gave us some time to get to know each other. Well that went so well that we all realised it was nearly dark and we hadn't actually taken a blip for the day!!
Gitama then really jumped into full Blipping mode and we managed to see a whole lot (most of it in the dark!!). It was really wonderful and it didn't take more than a minute to know that, yes Walking Wombat you really are a "Baby Blipper". It was very exciting to have Gitama show me how to make better use of my camera after buying it 12 months ago.
My apologies if my image tonight looks like it was taken at night, but that's not too far from the truth. It was a fantastic afternoon and one I will always treasure. What more could I wish for than to see a magnificent dolphin lazily cruising around in the river in the last light of the day.
