.........Anni posted the image of a valerian last Wednesday - was a bit impressed so thought I would have a go at producing something on the same lines! It's not a good as hers but I'm not t00 displeased with the result!

These are a smaller form of Allium (Allium moly) and not so spectacular as the bigger purple ones but do make a lovely splash of colour - grow to about 10" tall. They can be grown in shade which is a bonus and are not at all expensive! - under £2 for 20 bulbs or about £4 for 50 - I call that a bargain!

Not a bad morning - about 58 Deg. F. and very little wind. Although it is cloudy, it is quite bright - I think the sun will break through later on.
