Mucking about in the river
Flash adores the river. This is not by any means the best image of her from this morning's walk (and paddle) but it's the one that makes me smile, and the light catching the geometrical arc of water spray from her tail is a stroke of luck. One day I must record a soundscape of her slooshing along the river, out of sight, parallel to the path on the bank. It is doggy joy!
Thank you for all the kind comments about the poppy blip yesterday. Today, half a dozen are fully open. Still a startling colour though not as saturated as on a wet day, so to speak! Lots more of those plump prickly flower buds, on hairy stems elegantly bent at half mast waiting their turn to straighten up.
